The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov. U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Supply Chain Modernization Virtual Business Engagement Series


In support of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Supply Chain Modernization effort, OSDBU’s Direct Access Program (DAP) will co-host a series of virtual business engagements events to occur no later than August 2022.   

The virtual events are designed to provide Large Companies and entities that may submit an offer as a prime the opportunity to network with small businesses. The focus of the interactions is in regard to Supply Chain Modernization RFI 36C10B22Q0379 previously issued. 


Large companies and those interested in being a prime for the VA’s Supply Chain Modernization effort are highly encouraged to consider utilizing small businesses.
