The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. 3rd Quaterly Office of Construction and Facilities Managment One-on-One Meetings [Virtual Networking Session]

Due to the ongoing health alert, the CFM One-on-One Session will be conducted virtually.

In response to the Veteran-Owned Small Business and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business community request to have business networking dialogue with a senior leader in the Department of Veterans Affairs Office of Acquisition, Logistics, and Construction (OALC), the Department made available a series of quarterly events.

The 3rd quarterly event will be hosted by Mr. Zebulon Fox, Director, Office of Facilities Acquisition, Office of Construction and Facilities Management for the Department of Veterans Affairs.

The event is intended for the following North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes:

236220 - General Construction

237990 - Other Heavy and Civil Engineering Construction

541310 - Architectural

541330 - Engineering

541360 - Seismic Geophysical Surveying Services

The cost is free to attend. Space is limited; only 13 sessions are available.

One representative per firm will be permitted to participate.

This event is comprised of (13) 20-minute one-on-one meetings during which Mr. Fox can answer OALC-related questions. In prepartion for the sessions, Mr Fox will accept no more than 3 questions from firms seeking answers. Providing your questions in advance enables research to be conducted (as applicable).

Your registration does not quarantee your session. You will receive a confirmation email to include the time, session information and access link from the Direct Access Program Support Team.

When your session is confirmed, email the three (3) questions by Monday, August 10, 2020, to directaccess@va.gov. Subject line: Questions for Mr. Fox; Aug 18 BEC Event.
