The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) plays a crucial role in ensuring that programs, services, and support resources effectively reach and benefit the Veteran small business community. Through Direct Access Engagement, opportunities are provided for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), and other small business classifications to establish valuable partnerships and enhance their networking capabilities.

The VBA Office of Mission Support, The Acquisition Directorate, supports VBA’s strategic goals for the delivery of Veterans benefits through a nationwide of acquisition professionals who ensure quality and compliant procurements of supply and service requirements in a timely and cost-effective manner. We are part of the Office of Mission Support’s efforts to provide the support, tools, and resources to ensure VBA can build, sustain, and improve our capability to serve our Nation’s Veterans.

- Engage with Procurement Decision Makers (PDMs) and representatives from Federal Agencies and commercial firms to build business relationships.
- Learn about industry-specific trends, developments, and procurement opportunities to help support business growth.
- Network with other businesses to identify and discuss possible subcontracting and teaming opportunities.
