The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov. CFM National Region Upcoming Events

"COMING SOON"

In collaboration with the VA Office of Construction and Facilities Management (CFM), the Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, Direct Access Program (DAP) Office will conduct a series of virtual events. Intended to inform industry about upcoming potential procurement opportunities, participants will gain insight about solicitations, projects in development, and other prospects to supplement their capture management efforts. Please note, contract awards WILL NOT occur during these events. Participating Program Offices are utilizing this approach for market research purposes.

Some events will entail a recorded non-interactive presentation wherein the Program Office will outline information regarding a site visit. Conversely some events will entail “live interaction” with the Program Office, to include a question and answer period. A recording of interactive sessions will be posted on VA OSDBU’s DAP Events page and made available to the public.

An overview of the events, notional dates, and the approach for each is as follows. Please note, the date and approach are subject to change.
