National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. March 2025 Forecast of Business Opportunity Engagements

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) plays a crucial role in ensuring that programs, services, and support resources effectively reach and benefit the Veteran small business community. Through Direct Access Engagement, opportunities are provided for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), and other small business classifications to establish valuable partnerships and enhance their networking capabilities.

Office of Construction & Facilities Management (CFM) Virtual Industry Day 

The Office of Construction & Facilities Management (CFM) is responsible for the planning, design, and construction of all major construction projects greater than $20 million.   In addition, CFM acquires real property for use by VA elements through the purchase of land and buildings, as well as long-term lease acquisitions.  Through the construction and real property programs, CFM delivers to Veterans, high quality buildings, additions, large scale renovations, and structural enhancements.  CFM also manages facility sustainability, seismic corrections, physical security, and historic preservation of VA’s facilities.
