The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov . January 2025 Forecast of Business Opportunity Engagements

The Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU) plays a crucial role in ensuring that programs, services, and support resources effectively reach and benefit the Veteran small business community. Through Direct Access Engagement, opportunities are provided for Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (VOSBs), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), and other small business classifications to establish valuable partnerships and enhance their networking capabilities.

Verizon works with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and partners to help achieve the VA’s mission and commitment to healthcare. The Verizon network enables advanced clinical capabilities, with a sharpened focus on accelerating product development in fast-growing markets.
