National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov . Industry Day Goals
1. Provide updates on future program developments and acquisitions within CEHRIS

2. Engage with industry representatives to build synergies with the CEHRIS program office
3. Capture industry feedback to be better informed when developing requirements for future Requests for Proposals (RFPs) 
4.Gain a better understanding of recent industry developments and innovations in the realm of HCIS and Human Capital modernization efforts

 

In FY25, CEHRIS is anticipating ~3 recompetes and an RFP for HR IT Modernization.  This event will create a level playing field, encourage competition and ultimately lead to better outcomes for both CEHRIS and industry.

The virtual industry day will highlight opportunities for Veteran-Owned small businesses, and other small and disadvantaged businesses that seek to do business with the Center for Enterprise Human Resources Information Services (CEHRIS). Participants will learn about the program office’s mission and priorities, and understand the requirements, best practices, and expectations of doing business with the organization. Attendees will also have an opportunity to attend networking break-out sessions with CEHRIS acquisition leaders.
