The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov. In collaboration with the Department of Veteran Affairs, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization - Direct Access Program, United States Postal Service (USPS) will host Part II of the business opportunity session conducted on April 30, 2024.

It is highly recommended that you review the presentation and recording before registering to ensure that your business capabilities align with the business needs of USPS

The close of registration is subject to change based on the number of selected firms and availability of sessions.

Selection Process:

  • A DS Logon, LOGIN.gov, or ID.me account is required to enter the VetBiz portal to begin the registration process.
  • Complete registrations will be reviewed by USPS 
  • Selection and appointment scheduling are at the sole discretion of the host.   
  • Selected firms will be scheduled for a 20-minute meeting and notified by the Direct Access Program. 
  • Companies that are not selected will receive communications from  USPS.


You must fully complete your profile, upload your capabilities statement, and click “Submit” to complete registration.

Provides technical advice, program guidance, and policy interpretation on Supplier Diversity issues. Acting as a liaison with industry and trade associations, government agencies, and special emphasis groups to develop and maintain a communication and information system on Small, minority-owned, and women-owned business issues.  Participates in activities that promote supplier development and diversity.   Activities include business forums, workshops, seminars, symposiums, business opportunity fairs, and tradeshows.
