The National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2021 directed the Small Business Administration (SBA) to create a Governmentwide certification program for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Effective January 1, 2023, SBA assumed responsibility for certifying Veteran-Owned small firms. If you have questions, please contact SBA at vetcert@sba.gov . The virtual industry day will highlight opportunities for Veteran-Owned small businesses, and other small and disadvantaged businesses that seek to do business with the Center for Enterprise Human Resources Information Services (CEHRIS). Participants will learn about the program office’s mission and priorities, and understand the requirements, best practices, and expectations of doing business with the organization. Attendees will also have an opportunity to attend networking break-out sessions with CEHRIS acquisition leaders.
